About Us

What We Are:

The Clinic is a non-profit organization which means it relies upon private donations and charitable trusts and foundations to financially support your quality care. Providing essential medical and pharmacy care at no cost to the patient is an extremely expensive endeavor.

The Clinic provides thousands of dollars worth of health care to patients each year.

Our Mission:

The Clinic recognizes the right of low income, uninsured citizens of Rockingham County to have access to
health care that compassionately meets their essential medical, dental and pharmacy needs.

Our Vision:

The Clinic will meet the healthcare needs of low income, uninsured residents
in our diverse communities throughout Rockingham County.

Clinic History:

The Clinic was founded in May 1998 thanks to the vision of Dr. Paul A. Mabe, Jr., a local retired physician, and a long range planning committee at First Baptist Church in Reidsville. FCRC was built by well over 100 dedicated community members who believed in increasing access to quality healthcare for the uninsured in Reidsville. In October 2005, FCRC’s original 6 mile radius was expanded to include all of Rockingham County.

Hours of Operation:
